Cherishing the Moment

Those of you who receive our newsletter (sign-up here) know that I’ve set my intention this month towards cherishing those we love the most – whether that’s mom for Mother’s Day, your recent grad for graduation or perhaps even taking a moment to cherish yourself. This sentiment also gave rise to another thought: What if we take time to cherish the moment?

Have you thought of getting together with a group of people who own Light-Life Tools and work on/with each other? If you have Harmonizers you can put your intentions in there. I think it’s a very powerful and healing activity to gather together and set an intention. What would your collective celebrate? Harmony? Peace? Love? Acceptance? I think this is a wonderful example of truly cherishing the moment and those you love by gathering together for a common goal. I was listening to Archangel Haniel this Saturday and she said (like others before), that when three of us get together and set our intentions towards a goal we can achieve anything. Wouldn’t it be better to focus on what we want instead of being upset about all the things we see in the world and don’t like?

Another way to be present and “live in the now” is to practice meditation. I heard a spiritual advisor joke recently that if meditation came in a pill form everyone would be taking it! I think in this age of technology, it’s so hard for us to unwind from our phones or laptops and take time to do absolutely nothing. Meditation is needed more than ever in our lives to help us balance and return to center. What does your practice look like? Even two minutes a day is said to have tremendous health benefits. I like to take time each morning to write my intentions for the day down, sip a cup of hot water and do my meditation and prayers. I have a box as headboard which is hiding my 3 ½ Sacred and Lost Cubit heavy rings. Sitting in my bed I’m in a light tunnel created by the rings. This energy seems to add an even deeper relaxation to my meditation.

Cherishing the moment and being present may not be easy at first. It takes, like everything else, practice and support. Even when I’m traveling I have found a way to follow my routine. I have some guided meditations on my cell phone and I listen to them when I’m on a plane. I also have my prayers on my cell phone and my mantras, so when I’m traveling I am can continue my practice. I would love to know what you’re doing to stay on track and what helps you with your meditations? Please share them below or on our Facebook page. I know I’d be grateful for the tips, but more importantly we need to share our best practices with one another.

Lastly, cherishing the moment doesn’t need to be planned. All of us at one point have experienced those deep belly laughs with friends that have us doubled over with amusement. Have you ever noticed that in those moments all your worries and cares seem to slip away? While cherishing the moment is a nice sentiment, I suggest that you cherish what brings you the most joy. When was the last time you chatted with your best friend on the phone? Done a simple, silly activity like mini-golf that brought you back to joyful childhood moments?

Meditation can assist us in letting go and joy seems to bring us back to the flow of the positive energy of our universe in nanoseconds. I encourage all of you to put down your phones for a few hours and find joy in the simple things. Just being out in nature brings me a lot of joy. It brings my soul so much peace and serenity. Let’s take time this month to cherish all that we hold dear together. Gratitude is such a powerful tool and for everything we cherish that energy seems to grow and expand.

Ask Katharina – January 2018

Dear Katharina,

I’m trying to decide between a silver or gold plated Harmonizer. According to your website and staff, silver has a more feminine energy while gold is more masculine. I immediately think male or female, but I have a strong suspicion that there is more to it than meets the eye. Could you explain the difference in more detail?

Thank you,

Randall W. Seattle, WA

Dear Randall,

Your question is not uncommon! And yes, you are correct in your assumption that there is a bit more to it. I’ll do my best to explain.

Silver has long been associated with the Greek Goddess Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and the moon. In astrology, the moon is associated with your emotions, your moods and your internal realm. It’s where creativity and chaos reigns. As science demonstrates, the moon is closely tied to the ocean tides. Water is where emotions flow throughout the psyche like gentle waves. Hence, we often recommend a silver plated Harmonizer to those concerned with the harmful effects of EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields). Silver may essentially protect your emotional balance and your brain waves. As we often are using electronic devices in association with our mental capacity (I’m currently typing this on my laptop), I’ll often place a Silver Sacred Cubit Environmental Harmonizer nearby.

Gold is associated with the sun and carries a masculine energy. It’s positive and direct. In astrology the sun is associated with the outward expression of the ego. For example, when someone asks “What is your sign?” You are providing them with your Sun Sign or where the sun was positioned on the day you were born. While silver is internal and introspective, gold is external and full of action. I love our gold plated items in the sacred cubit. The Sacred Cubit Light-Life Rings deal with the physical world and gold is the metal of action. The Sacred Cubit Light-Life Acu-Vac Coil, gold plated, is what I immediately reach for when experiencing any type of physical discomfort such as a headache. However, some customers enjoy our silver products much more as they seem to move the energy a bit more smoothly and not as rapidly. It’s always a personal preference.

As a rule of thumb we found that silver works best for the unseen, i.e. emotions, mental issues, electromagnetic fields, radiation while the 24K gold plated ones seem to work best for all you can see, i.e. air pollution reduction, plant growth, etc..

Hopefully I was able to provide you with some clarity on the question. Before I go, I’ll leave you with a video one of my team members recently shared. I found it delightfully fun and very informative.

Warm regards,

Katharina

Dear Katharina,

I do not believe in New Year’s resolutions, but I would like to start manifesting my goals this year. Rumor has it that you have a tool that helps manifest desires. Is this true? How does it work?

Sincerely,

Stacy K., Omaha, NB

Dear Stacy,

Unfortunately, I can never make any guarantees about the tools. As they are energy devices their frequency is always interacting with your own, hence the reason everyone has slightly different results with the Light-LifeTool they employ. However, I’ve gotten many fabulous testimonials about our Heavy Lost Cubit Light-Life Ring. Some like to speak their prayers through the ring in the morning. Some voice their greatest yearnings through the ring. While you are free to voice your goals internally, it’s much more powerful to say them outloud due to the higher vibrational energy of sound. Give it a try! I would love to hear back from you and see if you found this tool to help you manifest your heart’s greatest desires. In addition to that I highly recommend you write your goals down. I’ve just learned that there is a over 40% higher chance of achieving your goals when they have been written down.

Blessings,

Katharina

Dear Katharina,

I’m feeling very overwhelmed lately! It seems as though I overloaded myself with goals and work in early 2018. I feel pulled in too many directions and find myself not getting much done. Perhaps I was too ambitious with my goals! Do you have any suggestions on a tool that might help? I don’t want to burn out. I know I need to take a much more balanced approach to my work life, but at the same time I want to find a way to focus and produce great work.

Thanks for your help,

Bianca F., New York, NY

Dear Bianca,

My first suggestion is to take a moment to stop whatever you are doing and make time for a five minute meditation. It might seem counterintuitive as you have so much to get done, but first you need to free up your mind from the clutter and the fears that are blocking your process. I often like to sit inside a 3 ½ Lost Cubit Light-Life Ring when I meditate for deeper relaxation.

Additionally, it sounds like you are dealing with work stress, but also the chaos and onslaught of information in New York City. With your senses taking in so much information each day, it’s essential for you to rebalance before you sit down to tackle your ‘to-do’ list. You can take a one Cubit Lost Ring and put it around your neck. One of my part time employees used that when she had too many projects to juggle. She was training to become a nurse and also help with our marketing.

You can also use the same 3 ½ Lost Cubit Light-Life Ring and give yourself an aura shower when you arrive at the office or during breaks. You can always sneak into a conference room or empty office to perform the exercise if you don’t wish to get odd stares from colleagues. Or perhaps they’ll be so intrigued they’ll want to try it as well! To perform an aura shower take the ring in both hands and slowly move it from above your head down to your feet. It seems to wash away any of the unwanted energy you’ve collected on your journey or throughout your day.

When sitting down to get work done on your computer, I highly recommend putting a ½ Sacred Cubit Light-Life Ring, gold plated, 3 beads, on your left arm, much like a bracelet or arm cuff. It seems to energize your blood and may stop it from agglutinating, which apparently can happen when we spend too much time on the computer. You can take it off when you get a glass of water and let the water sit in there for 15 minutes. The ring charges it and it will be even more beneficial for your health. Then put your back on your left wrist.

Apart from that, prioritize your projects and focus only on the three most important projects each day. 🙂 Also, if you’re familiar with Bach flower remedies, (you can find them in a good health food store or online), Elm is the perfect one for overwhelm and helps me every time I’m overwhelmed and remember to take it. It’s magical.

I hope you find these simple suggestions useful and you are able to return to your work with renewed enthusiasm. Please let me know how the tools are working for you!

Warmly,

Katharina

Ask Katharina – December 2017

Dear Katharina,

I absolutely love the holidays! However it definitely can be a bit stressful when all of my family gathers together. My uncle John is especially grumpy and loudly proclaims how he thinks that Christmas is a waste of time. It really can spoil the mood and I don’t like that negativity around the children. Is there a tool I could purchase for myself or for him as a gift that might get him in the spirit?

Thank you,

Natasha L., AL

Dear Natasha,

I totally understand your dilemma! The holidays are often filled with unattainable expectations. We are influenced externally by media, by friends and other outside influences about what our Christmas “should” look like. I first encourage you to let go of the “shoulds”. Try meditating on accepting each and every one of your family members just the way they are! Even your grumpy uncle. He teaches you about love and compassion. Think about it, it’s easier to be nice to nice people. He’s forcing you to deepen that commitment to kindness. You may also want to purchase a Pyramid Pendant for him. This tool has been reported to increase happiness for those who were previously in a dour mood. Actually, one of our customers bought several for grumpy and bitter individuals and saw them transform before his eyes into decent human beings. Try it out and please let me know how it works for you. Wishing you and your family a really lovely and imperfectly perfect holiday.

Warm regards,

Katharina

Dear Katharina,

I only buy organic food as I want to offer myself and my family the healthiest options available. I go a bit nuts during the holidays and unfortunately organic food, especially fruits and vegetables, doesn’t keep as long. Is there a tool I could use to help my foods stay fresh?

Thank you,

Melinda B. LA

Dear Melinda,

I too only buy organic, local and sustainable foods. I truly believe the saying “you are what you eat” and I applaud your efforts on keeping it organic and healthy this holiday season. The tools are absolutely amazing when it comes to keep food fresh and energized! You can place any of our Sacred Cubit Light-Life Rings around your food to delay the ripening or decay. Try an experiment and put a piece of fruit in a ring and outside of one for a week. Seeing is believing! You can put the rings around your fruit bowl, around items in the refrigerator (my marketing director often puts hers around the milk) and you can even place a 3 ½ Sacred Cubit Light-Life Ring around or on top of your refrigerator to keep items lasting longer and tasting wonderful. I also suggest putting a 1 Sacred Light-Life Ring around all of your stove burners to make your cooking experience energetically charged. That’s what I do. In addition to that I have large 3 ½ Sacred Cubit Rings in the trunk of my car and put all my groceries in there so they get charged already on the way home. I hope these suggestions are useful! Wishing you a wonderful and flavorful holiday meal.

Warm regards,

Katharina

Dear Katharina,

I work in the retail industry and this is our busiest time of year. Although most people seem to be getting into the spirit of things I find I’m always extremely stressed during the holidays. Embarrassingly enough, I suffer from cold sores and they seem to pop up when I’m full of anxiety. The holiday rush is incredibly intense and I would like to greet customers with confidence. Is there a tool that can help with this problem?

Thank you,

Paul D., MO

Dear Paul,

There is no need to be embarrassed! Cold sores are extremely common, however it seems to be something that we don’t like to discuss very often. I had a customer report to me recently that she used an Acu-Vac Coil on her mouth when she felt one coming on. Remarkably the cold sore never came to fruition! I suggest that you try it yourself and see if it works for you! I’m also sending tons of calming, healing energy your way. Don’t let the busyness of the holidays get the best of you! Don’t forget to take some time for yourself, even if that’s five minutes here and there to relax and recenter.

Happy Holidays!

-Katharina
